Amavasya has very importance in .Hindu dharma. It comes in the month of savan. In the month of sawan the pooja of Shivji is performed. The pooja of tree of peepal is also done and people cook the gulgule and puye for bhog and prasad. It is distributed.

Lakshmi, Maha-Lakshmi pooja
On the occision of Diwali ,the festival of lights, all Hindu worship the Goddess Lakshmi as she is the famous Goddess of luxury,success, wealth and prosperity and good luck, which she gives to her devotees when she is in happiness. In this Special day it is believed that Goddess Lakshmi comes door to door to gives Her blessing them, who pleased her by praying. People leaves their houses open at night in the honour of Goddess Lakshmi and expected that she might halt their house and do the rain of money. But she do not stay with her devotees.

Naag-Panchmi
In the month of Sawan people do many fasts, Homa, Hawan and religious works for taking blessings from the Almighty Gog. On the day of Nag Panchmi , people do the worship of snakes that is called the Nag-Panchami. It comes in the shukal paksha of the month of Shrawan or sawan.
In Indian culture for the welfare of the world, many animals and other living things are worshiped by the people with great feelings. Nag Panchami is one of these festivals. In this way people get the blessing from these Devtas. Nagas are the ornaments of Lord Shiva and live on the neck and arms of Lord Shiva. According to our Shastras, the weight of our earth is on the Head of Nagas.
The place Lord Vishnu is Between the Khir Sagar that is called the shaya ( Bed or retiring place). It is said them when God take birth on the earth, Shesh Nag also take birth in any life and shape. Both live together. Rama and Lakshmana, Krishna and Balram. Nagas protect Lord Krishna from the rain when he was taken from Mathura to Gokul .

If there is a kaal-sarp yog is in the Kundli do the worship of Nagas on this day. Dosh will be decrease.

Vishvakarma day
The day comes next to Diwali is called the Vishwakarma day. In this day grand puja of Vshwakarma is performed. Vishvakarma was the son of Brahma.He was on of the precious things born of the Sagar-Manthana . He was the official divine architect and builder of Gods' palaces. He was a good designer of all flying chariots of Gods and their weapons. He had five children who look after the different types of work. He himself taught his sons and became them perfect in their field of work. All the sons known as the five sub-groups respectively and deals in the fields of black-smith, stone mason, bell metal worker, gold smith and metal caster, which frequently became the feature of Indian cast-system. In the second words, they were the decent craftsman. In the old time the caste system was not flexible India.So professionally the works divided, were hereditary.
In Mahaharta , Vishwakarma was the Lord of Art , designer of all type of ornaments. He has four hands, wear a crown on his head loaded with golden jewellery and holds a Water pot, a Book, a Noose, and craftsman tools in his hands.

They pray for their smooth working of various machines and tools. Gifts are give to the workers on this occasion.This day is considered as a holy day in India.

Dhanteras especially celebrated to worship the Goddess Lakshami , as she is the provides prosperity and well being in the business. This festival specially holds signifies for business community due to the customary purchasing of precious metals of the day.
This festival celebrated on the 13th. day of krishan paksha in the month of Ashvin according to the Hindu traditional calender. It is also known as the Dhantryodhashi, Dhanvantri trayodashi also. According to Gregorian calender this date falls in the month of October and November.
In this festival, Dhan means wealth and prosperity and teras means the date, which is especially recommended for the worship of Goddess Lakshmi by our astrologist and Rishis and Saints. After deep study in the field and as per Nakshatras, this was fixed. People renovate the houses and work places and clean them properly to welcome the Dhan-Lakshmi in their houses and places. It seems very good ,the night specially as the lamps and Diyas are enlightened this day. Alpna or rangoli is decorated on the path of Lakshmi and foot prints are marked .

A popular story is also said behind this festival celebration, as the son of the king of Hima ,who was bitten by the snake and was died after the 4th. days of his marriage. His wife never faith on his death and spread her jewellery in the middle of the way of door and take rest there. She do not get sleep his husband . When Yama , the god of death come to bring her husband , the way was closed ,He wait till morning . He get failed in his job and come back. In this way she save the life of her husband. Then the family of her celebrate the function and worship the god and pay thanks.

Karva chauth
Karva Chauth is celebrated on the fourth day of Krishan paksha in the month of kartik as per Hidus traditional calender. Each and everyone enjoyed and happiness this day. Not only Hindus but other religions also love to celebrate this festival with heart.
Everyone waits Diwali eagerly. It signifies that all the evil thoughts and negative thoughts will removed and your life will be brightened like the Deeps and like lightening lamps. Diwali day is the Amavasya day but Deeps and lights became it enlightened. It comes after the 20 days of Dashehra.
Diwali is famous for Lakshmi Puja. People believe that Devi Lakshmi will come to their home and fulfill their desires of prosperity. Gifts are given to each and other on Diwali. Children enjoy with the sweets and play with the bombs. But it is sometimes can be dangerous , so be careful from bombs.

9. Light a deepak on the four ways path and under the pipal tree and come back silently without seeing back. it will protect you from the shani effect. Watering the pipal tree also on this day. one deepak light in front of Tulsi plant.
10. Take a coconut, tilak it, with rice, kumkum and flowers and keep it in the puja.
11. Tilak your forehead with Kesar.
12. Donate black blanket to one poor.
13. Keep peace in your home.
14. Mix some milk and Ganga Jal in the bathing water and then take bath on this day. Wear clean clothes and give Ardhya the sun with red flowers.
15. Put the supari,knot of turmeric , yellow kori in puja. Kori and turmeric put in your treasury , where you put your money.
16. Light the big deepak in puja ghar of your home on Diwali.
17. Beware of controversy on these days.

Chhoti Diwali :- This is also known as Narak-chaturdashi. Kaali charurdashi also. People light the diyas and lamp like Diwali. Take bath in the morning and light the lamps or candles. Take one diya of mustard oil and pass it in every room and put it out of house at any place. Bath after taking the oil massage.
Narak-chaturdashi is a festival. In this day Narkasur the king of Prag jyothish pur was killed by Satya bhama and she save the lives of prisoners ladies. So it is called the Narak chaturdashi.

Chhoti Diwali :- This is also known as Narak-chaturdashi. Kaali charurdashi also. People light the diyas and lamp like Diwali. Take bath in the morning and light the lamps or candles. Take one diya of mustard oil and pass it in every room and put it out of house at any place. Bath after taking the oil massage.
Narak-chaturdashi is a festival. In this day Narkasur the king of Prag jyothish pur was killed by Satya bhama and she save the lives of prisoners ladies. So it is called the Narak chaturdashi.
Sheetla ashtmi.
Traditionally it is a fast that is done on the day of saptami or ashtmi of krishan paksha after the festival of Holi. Indian religion is so vast that many festivals and religious ceremonies are celebrated time to time each month. Ma Sheetla ashtmi or saptmi is one of them.

Bhayia Dooj of Tikka
Bhaiya Dooj is a ritual festival. It is like the festival of Raksha Bandhan ,which is the mainly celebrated between the brother and the sister and shows the affection and love towards each other. In return brothers also bless the sisters and treat with the gifts and cash.Those brothers who live far away and can not come to the house of the sister's house on Tikka occsion, then the sisters send the Tikka by post and prays to God for the wellness for their brothers.

It is a very important day in Hindu culture. Many religious functions are celebrated in the religious places every where in India. Time started changes from this holy day. Early in the morning people get-up and take bath.
. As per custom and tradition says that in this particular day who eat little Heeng roll in butter with empty stomach it saves from the worms in the stomach. It is an Ayurveda Nuskha.
Some people who have new born baby also celebrate Maghi with new cotton with putting on their head and sing a song:-----Puni ve kaka puni, Teri maan (mother) te dhadhi suni Tera Piu te dadha suna.( beautiful)

3. For Rahu-Ketu and shani , bind the black til and urad in a black cloth and donate , It will proves for the financial problem.
4. Sadsati, dhaiya ,Kal sarp yog, pitra-dosh, can be removes with the help of donated black til.
5. On Saturday,.......... mix black til in the milk and give the pipal tree for removal of difficulties and bad time.

Navratri
Navratri :- It is a famous and important festival of Hidus , which is celebrated twice in a year . 1, Chetra Navratri that falls in the moth of Chetra . Ninth day is called Ram-Navmi. Which is celebrated with bright dignity.

Holi
Holi is the festival of colors. people play with colors with full enjoyment. The period from Shukal-paksh ashtami of the Fagun month to Holika Dehen is known as Hoklashtak or Holokotsavas per traditions of Hindu's. This period id of 8 days so it is called the holikotsav . We do not do or starts new works, the good deeds and ceremonies during this period as these are declared the bad days.
Holi is a very ancient festival. In vedas, purans, Jaimini Mimansa the name of holi is mentioned. There are some reasons behind it as says that in this day Kamdev had disturbed the tapasya of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva destroyed him on the day of ashtmi of month of Fagun . Rati the wife of Kamdev prayed the Lord Shiva to give him rebirth or re-life. He do this for Rati. So This bad day ended on Dulandi and turn in to the Holi, the happiest day that was celebrated with colors.
According to jyotish scientific reason is that in these days moon on the ashtmi, sun on the nauvi, shani on dasvi, shuar on gyarvi, guru on barhvi, bhudh on terhvi, mangal on chadvi, purnima on rahu remains worm.. 1. if your business is going to loss then in the evening of Holika dehen spread the red color of holi on the entrance and light a deepak of 4 mouth on it . put it in the Holika fire at night.
2. In disease dip 2 laung / clove, 1 batasha, leave of paan and mishri in the holika fire. Do the prayer Put in right hand 4 gomati chakra at that time. Bend it with the silver wire with the 4 legs of the bed of patient.
3. If you are suffered by tantra and any obstacle in the path of your progress then dip 2 cloves / laung in desi ghee 1 batasha and 2 leave of paan donate to the holly fire of Holika Dehen. On the next day take the ash of it and apply on your body.
4. If your baby is suffering from bad sight then apply the same as in 3rd. no. and bend this ash in a taveez . Hang it in the neck of the baby.
5. For the dispute between the brothers then for removal put 11 leaves of neem and red chandan in the Holly fire/.
6. For throat disease 1 handful of Moong pulses in the Holly fire.
7. Dispute with father or elders put 7 pieces of turmeric and 1 handful of chana in the fire.
8. If there is a problem related to the children then donate onion, garlic and green lemon to the Holly fire.
9 In case of Asthma or cough 48 almond / badam take anti-clock wise and donate to the Holly fire.
10. If dispute between the friends then for became normal 1 handful of rice and 7 broken kaudi donate the holly fire.
11. For getting happy and prosperous life make 108 cotton bati and dip in the desi ghee . Donate it to the Holly fire.

The next day on" dulandi " these sweet chapatis are eaten with butter and lassi or curd.
